Part of the data is collected to ensure the proper functioning of the website. Other data is used for storing and statistically analyzing your solar plant yields. Region-based comparisons are performed completely anonymously on a ZIP-code level.

3. Registration and User Data

When creating an account on PVveda, we store your email address, your name, and an encrypted password (using Argon2id). This data is required to provide you with your personal dashboard and to ensure secure login authentication.

4. Telemetry Data and API Usage

When connecting your photovoltaic plant to PVveda, we store the measurement data transmitted by you or your system (power values in Watts, yields in kWh, battery state of charge, grid import and grid feed-in) permanently to render historical statistics. You can export or delete your data at any time.

5. Cookies and System Storage

We exclusively use technically necessary cookies to maintain your login session, store your language preference (`pvveda_locale`), and optionally to remember your login session across visits. We do not use any third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to receive information about the origin, recipient, and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge at any time. You also have the right to request the rectification or deletion of this data. You can delete your account and all associated telemetry data autonomously at any time via your account settings page.
